What has timing got to do with the purchase of a one cup Keurig coffee maker? Are there sales or incredible bargains going on now that makes this a great time to purchase one of these machines? Not that I’m aware of, but the quality and features that Keurig coffee makers possess make any time, the right time to buy.
Single cup coffee makers by Keurig add value and pleasure to your coffee experience. They create very little mess, are extremely easy to use and are one of the easiest coffee brewing systems to maintain in terms of cleaning and care.

Despite the many benefits of a single cup coffee maker, until now these types of machines have been closed systems. By that I mean they force their users to brew coffee that has been “approved” or specifically designed to be used on each machine.
And this is usually how a closed system works, one machine would only support one brand of coffee. So, if you would to purchase a Senseo, then the coffee would be Douwe Egbert and if you get a Nespresso machine, then you would be drinking Nespresso. There is nothing wrong with any of these coffees, they are all very respectable. but no matter how good the coffee is, consumers always like variety, and you cannot get that in a closed system.
At a previous job I shared a cubicle with a co-worker who had a Senseo. It was nice for an emergency cup of coffee late in the afternoon, and I drank a lot of it. However, there was no room for originality and customization in the cup I brewed. Needless to say it was only used for emergencies.

Up until now, consumers have been “wowed”, by the ease of use and low maintenance of one cup coffee makers. Now we are can use these machines to brew any coffee we like. There is not a better coffee solution on the market that can top that!
